Only revelation motivates a man to leave his current location and travel somewhere new with God. Revelation is what transforms him from a thinker into a “be-er” and what transforms knowledge and effort into inspiration, empowerment, and experience.
Revelation is deep, transforming us from the inside out. Revelation is lasting, a seed God plants exclusively in us and for us that was not meant for anyone else. It drives us out of ourselves and toward others in the John 15 love we never knew before the divine touch descended upon and into us.
Revelation is simply the difference between citizens of the kingdom of heaven and everyone else, because the kingdom requires a radically transformed perception of all things pertaining to God, man, and kingdoms. While knowledge can certainly impact our perceptions, only revelation can transform them.
