For those who truly wish to follow Christ the greatest choice of all, one that will determine the life we lead, the fruit we bear in this world, and perhaps our very salvation is an election we make. Only two kingdoms exist on earth. There is no acceptable middle ground between the two, and so we must choose.
The two kingdoms are both literal and both real, seen and unseen. They are the kingdom of man and religion, and the kingdom of heaven on earth. Like flesh and spirit, the two are diametrically opposed and therefore we cannot please God trying to abide in both. The times in which we live demand the people of God understand, and wisely elect, which kingdom they will be citizens of. If they make the right choice, they must do their utmost to continue to perfect their election as life goes on.
